Cecil Eugene “Gene” Nix, age 75, of the Liberty Hill Community, Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, June 24th, 2014, at his residence.
Visitation, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25th, 2014, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25th, following visitation, in the funeral home chapel. Elvis Cochran officiating. Burial in Shady Grove Cemetery # 3 in the Gravel Hill Community in Franklin County, Alabama.
Mr. Nix was born February 15th, 1939, in Franklin County, Alabama, to the late Nettie Irene and Cecil Elbert Nix. He was of the Baptist Faith.
