Caul Jerry Batchelor was born on March 13, 1937 in Mercer, Tennessee, to the late Sam and Jennie Batchelor. He departed this life on Sunday, January 24, 2016.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Mercer Baptist Church in Mercer, Tennessee. He ordained as a Dean in Waipahu, Hawaii. He was a member of Ellsworth Baptist Church in South Dakota.
He was a active member of the Westwood Baptist Church-University Center. He has been a member since 1975. He served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent an other ministries of the Church.
He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He worked at the V.A. Hospital for 22 years an a Veteran Supply Specialist. He also was a EEOC representative for the V.A. Hospital.
He enjoyed music, singing, baseball and being a basketball referee.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Barbara Leach, Sam Batchelor Jr. and Theatri Batchelor.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Charity Mae Batchelor; children: Gerald (Sherry) Batchelor and Brian (Erin) Batchelor; two grandchildren: Adrian Quinn Batchelor and Ebony Sakura Batchelor; siblings: Juliet Banks of Bowling Green Ky., Jerome (Izola) Batchelor of Bemis, TN, and Ricky Batchelor of Cincinnati, OH, and a host of other relatives and friends.
