We lost a beloved member of the family on August 21st, 2023. Cathy Sue Jackson passed away at Huntsville Hospital at 8:26 p.m. Cathy was born December 29th, 1949. She was the second oldest of three children. She met her lifelong loving husband of 54 years one amazing night at The Officers Club. 6 off and on again long weeks they decided it was time to buy a tv set together and it’s been history ever since. They married January 2nd, 1969 and together they raised one beautiful son: Robert Heard Jackson II. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents and loving son in 2023. She is survived by her husband Robert Jackson; Daughter in law: Kristy Jackson; Two siblings; Lee Ingrim, and Margret Watson Bzdell: Three granddaughters; Emily Jackson, Ashley Wages, and Jessica Etheredge: One grandson; Randy Kyker; Five great grandchildren; Danae Wages, Ahnaleigh Wages, Mary Lane Wages, Paislee Nicole Belle Whited, and Alivia Drake and many nieces and nephews. Cathy was a one of a kind woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. It’s hard to put into words how amazing she really was. Cathy was ever so classy, loving, maternal, and safe. She was home to most and loving to everyone. She was open to everything and everyone and loved to her full potential. She will be missed and thought about everyday but most importantly loved for forever. Toodahloo for now Nanny. We will be having a Memorial Service at Hampton Cove Funeral.
