Cathy “Granny” Mansell, 72, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 10, 2025, surrounded by all her loved ones in the comfort of her home.
She was born on August 27, 1953 to the late Dudley and Sue Meadows. She attended Muscle Shoals High School.
Cathy was also preceded in death by her sisters, Yvonne, Bonnie, and Sheila. She is survived by four children, Brandy, Julie, Dusty, and Cody. Grandchildren are Brynli, Payton, Whitley, Micheal, Isabella, Hayden, Caleb, Jaelynn, and Tristan. Great-grandchildren are Abigail, Hazel, Anthony, Amari, and Harper.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, First Southern Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals, AL. Thompson and Son Funeral Home, directing.
