Cathryn Cantrell Wells, age 89, died Otober 4, 2014. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with burial in Athens City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Wells.
