Cathleen M. Bowen, age 68 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. She was born in Elora on January 8, 1956, to the late Woodrow and Virginia Mae (Edwards) Martin. Before her retirement, she was employed as a rental agent at Nashville Airport. She was a devoted member of Winchester First Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing specials in the church and attending gospel concerts, and cherished the time spent with her church family. Cathleen loved the time spent with her beloved son, Michael, and especially enjoyed the camping trips they had been on as a family. Her family and friends will remember her kind and caring nature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bowen; and brother, Archie Martin. Cathleen is survived by her son, Michael Bowen; siblings, Tony (Linda) Martin, Melvina (Mike) Anderson, Alvin (JoAnne) Martin, Rowetta Nunley, Hugh’d Martin, and Wanda Mooney; and sister-in-law, Linda Martin. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home with Bro.
