Cathie Leigh Fuentes passed away on August 17, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Cathie was a Madison, Alabama resident for the last three years.
Cathie was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 18, 1945. She was the oldest of four children. She grew up, attended school, college, lived and worked in San Antonio for the majority of her life.
Cathie is survived by her husband, Robert Fuentes; sisters, Karen Hubble and Mary Lou Miller; daughters, June Carter, Robyn La Forge, and Allison Lawson; and grandchildren, Megan Carter, Kendall Carter, Teagan Rose, Adalyn Rose, Dylan Katz, Ronan Katz, and Faryn Katz.
Cathie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Anyone that met her gracious and kind soul. While she will be missed and remembered by everyone, her spirit will live on.
