Mrs. Catherine Shelton Bloodworth Manning, age 67, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

 

Mrs. Manning was born on August 31, 1956, in Decatur, Alabama to the late Andrew Leonard Shelton and Jean Gregg Bloodworth. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Indianola, Mississippi.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Nelson Bloodworth.

 

Survivors include her husband, Mark Manning of Murray, Kentucky; they married on December 21, 1985, in Montgomery, Alabama; two sons, Alan Andrew Manning and wife Katherine of Birmingham, Alabama and Mason Christopher Manning of Hunsville, Alabama; as well as two sisters, Sandy Kuhn of Richmond, Virginia and Peggy Bloodworth of Birmingham, Alabama.
