Catherine Jean Lynch, 73, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at her home. She was born in Delaware County, PA to Donald J. and Catherine Jean Rhodes King. While working as a Candy striper in a Philadelphia hospital, she met the love of her life, Daniel Joseph Lynch. They fell in love and were married eight weeks later on July 20, 1968. They began celebrating their family with the birth of their first daughter one year later. Her beloved husband passed away in February of 2016 and she has missed him every day since. At her request, their ashes will be combined and spread at Mt. Cheahaw in Anniston, AL and Blue Mountain Beach, FL so they will be together forever in the two places they loved the most.
She is survived by four children, Doreen Patterson, Jenean Zayas, Angela Alack and Daniel Lynch; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Walter King.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, David King and one sister, Mary Exley.
