Catherine Gaisser Fields, age 90, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Keller Landing Nursing Home.
Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Dessie Province, her husband, Ernest “Pug” Gaisser, father of her three children, her second husband, Lee Marshall Fields, and her siblings, Maggie McKinney, Bobby Joe Province, and Joyce Marie Pace.
Survivors are her daughter, Norma Gay McClure (Kenneth), Montey Joe Gaisser (Glenda), and Alice Carole Terry (Michael); sister, Annie Lousie McAllister (J.C.); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Fields was retired from Colbert County Hospital, also known as Helen Keller Hospital, and a longtime member of the Westside Church of Christ, Sheffield, Alabama.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11 2015, from noon-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with private interment.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Minister Gerald Sockwell of the Westside Church of Christ will be officiating.
