Carson Charles Kerr, age 89 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Kerr was born August 19, 1930 in Limestone County, he was a member of Oakland Church of Christ in Athens. He was retired from Ford Motor Company, a US Army Veteran of The Korean Conflict, a avid Bluegrass picker, one of the founders of the Athens Fiddlers Convention, and continued to serve on the steering Committee.
Services will be 5PM Saturday June 20, 2020 at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, visitation will be from 3pm until service Saturday at funeral home. Burial in Dement Cemetery with Military Honors.
Pallbearers are Nicholas Wright, Seth Kerr, Ian Kerr, Carson Kerr, Grant Gilliam.

Great Grandchildren, Nolan Green, Ellis Green, Jonathan Kim, David Kim, Owen Wright. Brother, Jerry (Mary Ann) Kerr of Rogersville, Tom (Marjorie) Kerr of Huntsville. Sisters, Verna (Bill) Cowley of Huntsville, Nancy Cooper of Rogersville, Betty (Pete) Kiep of Athens. Several Nieces and Nephews.
