Carrie Lynn Corsby, 49, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Dec. 16, 2012.
Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 20, from 5-6 p.m., at Colbert Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel, with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Bret Pitman is officiating.
She is survived by her father, Fred Barrett, of San Francisco, Calif.;
husband of 24 absolutely wonderful years, Mark Corsby; son, Tristan Tyler Corsby, 15, of Muscle Shoals; honorary son, Dalton James Weivoda, 16, of Muscle Shoals;
daughter, Julie Anne Corsby, 17, of Muscle Shoals;
brother, Kevin Barrett, of Antioch, Calif.; and sister, Shelly Weivoda, of Havre, Mont.;
nephews, Joshua Allen Weivoda, age 18, of Moses Lake, Wash., Donald Geoffrey Barrett, age 7, of Antioch, Calif.
Mrs. Corsby was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during Desert Shield. She attended First United Methodist Church of Muscle Shoals, was a Girl Scout Leader and cashier at Wal-Mart in Muscle Shoals for 5 plus years.
