Carrie “LeAnn” Eyler Herrin went home to Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on November 8, 2017. LeAnn was the first baby girl born at Medical Center Hospital in Huntsville, AL on January 16, 1970, a special birthday she shared with her mother.  LeAnn was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She was a member at Willowbrook Baptist Church and a twenty-two-year employee of Fountain, Parker, Harbarger.  The family would like to thank both for their love and support throughout LeAnn’s journey.

LeAnn is survived by her three children whom she adored, the lights of her life, Kenny, Christian and Chloe Herrin; their father, Kenny Herrin, Jr.; her parents, Gerald and Alice Eyler, her brother, Lee Eyler; uncles, Tom and Don Yates; aunt, Rosie Clack; long-time friend, Chad Steed and his daughters, Millie and Abbey; nieces, Catie Eyler and Kathryn Anderson; nephews, Lennon Anderson, Alex and Jackson Herrin; mother-in-law, Donna Herrin-Griffith; three loving “sisters”, Michelle Herrin-Anderson, Carole Eyler Rundle, and Anna Herrin; as well as, a host of cousins, family and friends who love her dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 10th, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A service to celebrate LeAnn’s life will be Saturday, November 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at Willowbrook Baptist Church with Pastor Mark McClelland officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huntsville Hospital Neonatal ICU for the love and care they showed when Christian was born three months premature.
