Carrie Beth Jamerson, 42, died Monday, April 8, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born November 5, 1976, in Amory, to Niles and Shirley Umfress Jamerson. She was a neonatal nurse practitioner at LeBonheur Childrens Hospital in Memphis. She was very dedicated and passionate about her work and volunteered a lot in her field. She enjoyed animals, traveling, shopping, and being with her family and friends.
Services will be at 1:00 p. m. Friday, April 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley Jamerson; one brother, Ross Jamerson, both of Fulton; two nephews, Case Jamerson and Jaxon Mask; special friend, Joli Estes of Mooreville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Niles Jamerson; grandparents, R.C. and Judie Jamerson, and Vic and Bell Umfress; and one aunt, Jonnie Bishop.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a. m. until service time on Friday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal shelter on Carrie’s behalf.
