Carolyn Ward Kilzer, 78, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Visitation will begin at 11 AM Saturday at Ripley Church of God with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Mrs. Kilzer was a retired employee of A.O. Smith in Ripley.
The widow of Thomas Kilzer, she is survived by two daughters Lana Hammons (Jeff) of Dyersburg and Vicky Watkins of Ripley; four sisters Brenda Forrester of Gainesville, GA, Cindy Henson of Canton, GA, Sharon Hughes of Nashville, and Regina Williams of Moreland, IN; a brother Joe Hughes of Nashville; 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jackie Lynn Crowder.
