Funeral for Carolyn W. Reeves, 81, of Decatur will be Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 3:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Alan Queen officiating. Burial will be in Bellview Cemetery . Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Reeves, who died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Parkway Campus was born, February 4, 1936, to Arthur Thompson and Ellen Robinson Thompson. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and retired as a surgery tech from Decatur General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sisters.
Survivors include:
2 Sons – Don (Jackie) Reeves and Larry (Whitney) Reeves
Daughter – Sabra (Charles) Boutwell Money
Sister – Betty Gail (Tom) Roper
5 Grand Children – Alan (Jessica) Reeves, Caroline Reeves, Matt (Julie) Shell, Adam Boutwell and Andrew (Kristy) Boutwell
7 Great Grand Children – Michelle Reeves, Eli Reeves, Logan Dyess, Hannah Dyess, Dakota Shell, Eli Shell and Mason Boutwell
Pallbearers will be Adam Boutwell, Matt Shell, Dakota Shell, Keith Pratt, Andrew Boutwell, Alan Reeves and Leon Ferrell.
