Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Curry Cemetery.
Carolyn was such a light and joy to everyone around her. She loved the Lord, her family and friends. She loved to laugh, spend time with her family, arranging flowers and decorating, singing and listening to music- especially George Strait and Elvis. She was voted wittiest in her graduating class at T.W. Martin High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Preston Stephenson and Verdra Christine Brown Stephenson; brother, Billy Stephenson and sister, Jeane Tyler.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Hicks (Graham); sister, Libby Barnett (Gaylon); brothers, Allen Stephenson (Anita), Jimmy Stephenson (Joanne) and Johnny Stephenson (Jane). She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, along with many relatives and friends.
