Carolyn Sue Dempster, age 79, of Arab, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. Carolyn was born in Memphis, TN. to Herschel Lamar Barron and Lillie Faye Graves Barron.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters: Ann Allen, Betty Gaither and Patricia Dacus
She is survived by son, Jeffery Lynn Dempster (Denise), daughters: Kelly Leigh Bateman and Kimberly Rae Harper (Jimmy); grandchildren: Ashley Saunders (Josh), Kelsey Wills (Walter), Jacoby Bateman, Matalynn Dempster, Hannah Dempster, Kyndal Harper, Jayla Harper, and Sarai Dempster; great grandchildren: Elizabeth Saunders, Conley Nollner, Aubrey Saunders, Madyson Saunders, Millie Jane Wills, Kirby Wills; sister, Barbara Borden (Thomas); 5 nephews, a niece and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM. until the celebration of Carolyn’s life that will begin at 2:00 PM. at Union Hill First Congregational Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
