Carolyn Sue Collins passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at her home.
Born Carolyn Zimmerman in Jefferson City, Missouri to Marvin and Mary Zimmerman she married Douglas Collins at 19 and had three children; Christine Candace, Suzanne Renee and Stephen Douglas. They lived in Florissant, Missouri for several years before moving to Tampa, Florida in 1978. She started working at Refectone where she met Walter Schwarzkopf who became the love of her life. They retired and moved to Alabama where she enjoyed gardening, canning and watching the hummingbirds.
She is survived by her companion of over 40 years, Walter Schwarzkopf; her children, Christine Hilden, Debbie Schwarzkopf and Donna (John) Nelson; grandchildren, Christopher, Tiffany, Melissa and Erica; great-grandchildren, Aylee, Paxton, Zadey, Laney, Elsie, Kevin, Kenneth and Kristopher and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Suzanne and Stephen.
