Carolyn Segrest Hagood (51) of Arab, AL passed away after a short illness Monday, April 29, 2024. She
was born in Union Springs, AL June 2 nd , 1972. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Judy
Cameron and her father, Donald Segrest. She leaves behind her loving husband, Chris Hagood, sons
Graham Segrest (Leigh Ellen) and Trevor Hagood, daughters Bella Kate Graves, Savannah Graves and
Ashley Hagood. Three grandsons: McCall Segrest, Bryant Ballew and Bentley Pledger. Four
granddaughters: Elliot Grace Styke, Brynleigh Pledger, Bryleigh Pledger and Reign Segrest. Sisters:
Cameron Stephens (Eddie), Rebecca Davis (Vernon), Judith Wooten, Donna “Alex” Segrest, Joanna
Hundley (Roland) and brother Hutch Segrest (April). Brother-in-laws Jason Hagood (Stacy) and Frankie
Gilbert.
A Celebration of Life will take place May 18, 2024 between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm at her home located at
1110 6 th PL NE / Arab, AL 35016 – you may park in the grass or on the street and walk around to the
back yard.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in her honor to the Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care or a
charity of your choosing.
