Carolyn S. Brown, a cherished soul, was born on July 24, 1943, in Adamsville, TN, to the late Lloyd C. and Eunice Oline Williams Bell. She lived a life rich in love, faith, and devotion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
On April 21, 1962, Carolyn was united in marriage to George Calvin Brown Sr., sharing a beautiful partnership that lasted until his passing on March 24, 2007. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.
Mrs. Brown was a beloved member of Pebble Hill Church in Michie, Tennessee, where her faith was as vibrant as her spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: nurturing her garden and flowers, immersing herself in books, listening to the soothing sounds of gospel music, and singing with an uplifted heart. Her love for travel and watching home improvement shows and westerns brought excitement to her days. She had a fondness for catfish dinners and truly believed that slaw was essential at every meal and breakfast was never quite complete without a slice of toast.
Mrs. Brown departed this life on December 21, 2024, at the age of 81 years, 4 months, and 27 days, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Brown and son-in-law David, her son George Brown Jr. and daughter-in-law Lorri all of Adamsville, TN; her sister Peggy Burney of Smyrna, TN; grandson, Mike Meek and wife Chastity of Adamsville, TN; two step grandsons, Zach Brown of Adamsville, TN, Adam Brown of Jackson, TN; great grandson, Easton Meek; step great grandson, Hayden Shell; step great granddaughter, Lilianna Brown; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Bell; sister, Marilyn Bell.
Carolyn S. Brown’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of love that will guide her family for generations to come.
