Carolyn “Renee” Sanchez, 67, of Hazel Green passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Renee was a very charitable and giving person. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed finding treasures that she believed would make someone else smile. Even though she was small in size, Renee was fierce and tough when she needed to be. She raised three strong boys on her own and worked multiple jobs throughout her younger years. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved them with every ounce of her being. She loved to play and make everyone smile. She enjoyed crocheting and has passed that passion down to younger generations. Renee will always be remembered for her kind and loving soul.
Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Ray Winkles and Katie Mae Hand; her brother, Jimmy Lee Murphy; and her husband, Ronnie Sanchez. She is survived by her children, James “Scott” (Susie) White, Christopher Ray White, and Samuel Paul “Stanton” (Tosha) White; her grandchildren, Lindsey (37), John (34), MacKenzie (19), Brianna (18), Zoie (17), Matthew (16), Ella (16), Aydan (15), Bella (14), Eliza (12), and Aria (3); great-granddaughter Norah (2); and her siblings, Ray (Janice) Murphy, Phyllis (Ben) Burke, and Marty (Denise) Winkles.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 6, 2023, at 3:30pm at Charity Baptist Church in Hazel Green. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
