Carolyn Moore Miller, 76 of Athens, Alabama, passed away on March 25th, 2024, in her residence. She was born on November 25th, 1947, to parents Willis Eugene and Dorothy Hardison Moore.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Melvin Miller; her son Wes Miller (Erin); her daughter Leigh Patterson (Eric); grandchildren Erin Patterson, Lindsey Patterson, Parker Miller, and Nola Miller.
Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Friday March 29th, 2024, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on the same day at 3pm in Athens City Cemetery with Jerry Curry and Wayne Holt officiating.
Carolyn loved helping others and painting. She received her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Alabama A & M. She worked as a counselor and program director for the Athens-Limestone Counseling Center for many years.
