Carolyn Joan Henson, 74 of Fairfield, passed away Thursday December 19, 2024. Funeral services will be held Sunday December 22, 2024, at 2pm in the chapel of New Horizon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery.
Joan was born March 29, 1950, to the late Ellis W. and Lilla Mae Henson. She is survived by her son John Ellard, sisters Jackie Edwards, Jan Shaddix, and Jennifer (Scott) Wade along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was employed by UAB Medical West and was very passionate about her nursing career.
