Carolyn was born June 26, 1952 to the late James and Virginia Potts and was the wife to the late David Kennemer. She was retired from the Maury County Board of Education. She loved Sunday morning drives with her companion Carl and her faithful lap dog Lyssa, spending time with her best friends and sisters, Gennie and Trisha, but most of all she loved holding the title of World’s Greatest Nana to her eight grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Breanna, Gage, Justin, Ty, Dallas and Peyton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Carol Craig and her younger sister, Betty Jane Sparkman.

She is survived by her son, Marc Craig, daughters Tonya (Wayne) Lewter, Kimberly (John) Workman, sisters, Virginia (Jerrel) Lovett and Patricia (Joe) Russell, eight grandchildren and three nephews.

Her grandsons and great nephew, Jordan Lovett, will proudly serve as pallbearers.

Special thank you to Dr. Gaylon Harris’ office, second-floor step down nursing staff of Maury Regional and Hospice Compassus for the wonderful care and compassion.
