Carolyn Dean Martin, age 72 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A native of Franklin County, she was born on August 15, 1951, to the late Floyd Ray and Nancy Bernice (Morris) Davis. Carolyn worked in several retail settings, including Red Food, Kroger, and even spent time cooking at The Lakeside Market. She liked cooking, listening to live music, and particularly enjoyed spending time with her friends and family at get-togethers. Her kind and thoughtful nature, strong-will, and energetic personality will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chris Martin; sister, Joan Summers; and brother, Ray Davis. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Martin of Winchester; son, Rob (Wendi) Martin; grandchildren, Riley, Emma Rose, Lake, Zoe, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Malibu and Miami; daughter-in-law, Dana McCallie-Martin; sister, Judy Reynolds; brother, Glen Davis; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Park.
