Mrs. Carolyn Cook Ragsdale, age 64, of Shelbyville, died Fri., Jan. 23, 2015. A native of Bedford Co., Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late Rufus Cook and Lillian Naomi Canady Cook. She was a former employee of Cosmolab in Lewisburg, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Farris Ragsdale who died in 2014.
Survived by 3 sons, Jeffrey Shane Cook of Shelbyville, Jamie (Shannon) Ragsdale of Shelbyville, and Jonathan (Erica) Ragsdale of Shelbyville; a sister, Peggy Tucker of the Wheel community of Bedford Co.; 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4pm – 8pm, Sat., Jan. 24, 2015 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2pm, Sun., Jan. 25, 2017 at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
