Caroline Scott was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 24, 1965, the daughter of the late Clarence Hardin and Ella Katherine Murphy Brown. She departed this life on June 26, 2019, at the age of 54 years, 1 month, and two days.
In her lifetime, Caroline worked as a clerk for Exxon in Counce, Tennessee and in childcare for 10 to 15 years. She enjoyed gardening flowers and other plants. Caroline was a family person, which she showed in her love for spending time with her family, cooking for her family. She also loved her dogs, Sissy, Weezy, and Rosie. Caroline will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother who always put others before herself.
Caroline is survived by her sons, Casey Scott, Ben Cossey and his wife Julie, and Josh Cossey, all of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Alyssa Scott of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Larry Brown, Gary Brown, Michael Brown, and Dennis Brown, all of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Billie Clayton, Rhoda Brown, Betty Bishop, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Pat Brown of Red Bay, Alabama; grandchildren, Bryson King, Bailey King, Cadence Wells, and Macy Cossey; and her soulmate of 11 years, Jimmy Lambert of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her grandson, Brendon King.
