Carol Talley Moncher was born on January 23, 1954 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of Myrl Elkins Talley and the late William Andrew Talley.
Carol worked for Brown Shoe Company and lived in Hardin County, Tennessee for most of her life before moving to Jackson, Tennessee 14 years ago. She loved her family and enjoyed going to yard sales.
Carol Talley Moncher departed this life on July 17, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Julie Ann Franks of Jackson, Tennessee; brothers, Nelson Talley and his wife Geraldine of Savannah, Tennessee, Pat Talley of Savannah, Tennessee, Jerry Talley and his wife Helen of Faulkner, Mississippi, and David Talley and his wife Gail of Shiloh, Tennessee; sisters, Faye Franks and her husband Jerry and Vickie Melson and her husband Milton, all of Savannah, Tennessee; mother, Myrl Elkins Talley of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Jacob Foust, Bobbie Ann Franks, and Tyler Roland.
In addition to her father, Carol was preceded in death by her siblings, Edith Blackwelder, Bobby Talley, Betty Talley, Charles Talley, Douglas Elkins, and Helen Talley.
