Carol Sue Painter Young

  Carol Sue Painter Young, 69, of Waterloo, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024. There will be a private service for the family.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Will Young; parents, James Robert and Sue Ann Painter; and brother, Randy Painter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth Young; children, Michael Young (Brandi) of Big Timber, Montana, and Steven Young (Jaime) of Florence; brother, Ken “Buster” Painter (Vance) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dakota Hamilton, Matthew Young, Kori Brooke Young, and Karson Young; and special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family expresses special thanks to the staff at Clearview Cancer Institute for their care and love shown to Carol during her battle.
