God called a magnificent Angel home on Tuesday December 20, 2022, Carol (McBride) Key, age 75 of Jackson, Tennessee passed away peacefully at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky with her loving daughter and family by her side.
Daughter of the late Roy and Mable McBride, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who adored her family and the time spent together. Carol was loved by everyone that knew her and she never met a stranger.
Carol is survived her husband Jerry Key Sr of. Jackson, TN; her daughters, Amy Wooldridge (Jamie) of Bedford, KY, Lachelle Ellis (Eddie) of Henderson, TN; Grandchildren, Emily Pickett (Allen) of Henderson, TN, Erin Flowers (Tyler) of Henderson, TN, Derrek Nichter (Tabitha) of Bedford, KY, Nick Ellis of Henderson, TN, Jake Nichter (Caiden) of Smithfield, KY; Great Grandchildren, Evan Hymark, Jesse Pugh, Elaina Nichter, Chloe Thomas, Gentry Nichter, Kolby Flowers and Boone Nichter. Carol is also survived by her sister Ann (Bill) McDaniel, two nieces, and an aunt, Joyce Holland (the late WS Holland), cousins and many wonderful friends.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Directors.
