Carol Jo Hunt Collins departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the age of 54 years, 28 days.
She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 11, 1960, the daughter of the Hubert Hunt and the late Marie Dickey Hunt. On February 5, 1986, she was united in marriage to Tim Collins, who survives. Carol was a homemaker for her family and caregiver to her father. She loved raising her kids, grandkids, gardening and cooking for family.
Carol is survived by her husband, Tim Collins of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Bradley Hunt and wife Beth of Counce, Tennessee; daughters, Crystal Scott of Savannah, Tennessee and April Scott of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chelsea Melson, Jamie Melson, Clayton Joe Melson, Jayden Melson, Timothy William Hunt, and Carol Marie Hunt; father, Hubert Hunt of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Judy Rich, Sandra Bonee, and Peggy Morris all of Savannah, Tennessee; and mother-in-law, Gloria Jean Collins of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margie White and and infant grandchild.
