Carol Jean Tidmore, 65 of Arab, Alabama died Monday, September 19, 2016 at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Huntsville.
Ms. Tidmore was born June 17, 1951 in Marshall County Alabama to Alvin J.H. Tidmore and Bessie Lee Slaten Tidmore. She worked at Nell’s Cleaners in Arab for many years. She enjoyed golfing and lived in Arab most of her life.
She was a member of Arab First United Methodist Church.
Ms. Tidmore is survived by a brother: James A. Tidmore; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Estelle and Louie Phillips; Rhonda Tidmore and Richard Pfister; a niece: Danielle Moffett and two nephews: Justin Amanda Tidmore and Jack and Sharron Phillips; six great nieces and two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alvin J.H. and Bessie Lee Tidmore.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday September 21, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve West, officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Wednesday September 21, 2016 prior to the service.
