Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 27th, with Bro. Ron Kleine and Bro. Johnny Trail officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30PM in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville with Jacob Bone, Tyler Barnes, Patrick Clark, Logan Edison, Matt Trail, and Hank Edison serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 26th, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Saturday from 10:00AM until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
Mrs. Bone was born on December 30, 1945, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to the late Jason & Ila Chandler Phillips. She was a homemaker and later spent many years of compassionate caregiving at Richland Place and was very active in supporting and fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association. She enjoyed shopping and traveling. Mrs. Bone was also an active member of Sycamore Chapel church of Christ, where she regularly volunteered with a group at Potter Children’s Home and treasured her outings with the WWF (Widow, Widower, and Friends) group. She was a loving matriarch to her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oma Bone, Jr.
Survivors include her sons, David (Debbie) Bone and Stephen (Kim) Bone; grandchildren, Adrienne (Patrick) Clark, Jacob Bone (fiancé Emily Fisher), and Grace Bone; great-grandchildren, Carleigh & Georgia Clark; brother, Terry Phillips; nephews, Scott (Angie) Phillips, Stacy Phillips, and Ryan (Becky) Barnes; sister-in-law, Nancy Barnes; and numerous first cousins.
