Carol Glover McGuff, 64 of Morgan’s Chapel community, passed away on Friday November 22, 2024, at UAB Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Carol was a member of New Life Christian Assembly church in Dora. Carol will always be remembered for her love of family, church, music, Christmas, Mickey Mouse and a good coloring book.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Imy Glover; her sister, Sandie Waid and her mother-in-law, Barbara Dooley.
Carol is survived by her husband, Robert McGuff; her children, Derek Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Jacob McGuff (Claudia) and Robert McGuff (Crystal), grandchildren, Alexander, Macaelan, Kylar, Zoey, Brennan, Alyssa, Dannica, Yannick, Cassidy, Waylon, Hilaire, Drake and Gavin, her sisters, Debbie Aycox (James) and Judy Thomas (Mike), along with a host of nieces and nephews, and her dog Sugar.
Graveside service and burial will be Monday Nov. 25, 24 at 12:30 pm at Bryan Cemetery. Rev. James Aycox and Rev, Kieth Owens will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 am- 12 pm at New Life Christian Assembly Church, 25 Cut and Curl Rd. Dora, AL 35062.
