Carol Faye Allen of Hazel Green, passed away at Huntsville Hospital Sunday October 29, 2023.
She was born on June 18, 1950, in Birmingham, Alabama. Carol moved to Huntsville when she was nine years old.
She worked at Warehouse Equipment and Supplies for 40 years as a bookkeeper. She loved to travel, especially taking cruises. Although she never had children of her own, she loved her nieces, nephews as well as her grand nieces and nephews as her very own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Helen Allen; her husband, John Clifford; sister Linda Baggett.
She is survived by her sister and best friend Robin (Mickey) Hunter, nieces, and nephews, whom she loved as her own children, Mechelle Odom, Tim Beasley, Kim Moon (Steve), Matthew Hunter (Ashley) and Heath Hunter (Tenea).
The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 10:00 – 12:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery immediately following visitation at 1:00 PM.
