Our beloved Mother, Carol Chubb, passed away September 9, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was 90 years old. Carol grew up in Iron Mountain Michigan. She graduated from The University of Michigan Nursing School where she met the love of her life, Bill Chubb. They were married for 60 years and raised their four children, Kathy, Bill, Stephen and Mary Jo, in Huntsville, AL. She was also a proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Carol had a heart for missions and through her church participated in mission trips to Romania, Peru, Puerto Rico and Alaska. She touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. Carol was a prayer warrior who faithfully lifted up the needs of family, friends and church members. Her spirit and love for the Lord will forever inspire those who knew her. We know that Carol’s joy is now complete.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Asbury Church in Madison, AL on September 24, 2024. Visitation will begin at 4:30 with the Celebration of Life to follow at 5:30.
