Carol Ann Rogers, 83, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, AL after a short illness. She was born in Sheffield, AL on May 10, 1941 to Robert Norman and Lenice Lowery Norman. She graduated from Colbert County High School and then from the University of North Alabama. Carol Ann was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay, where she was a beloved first and second grade Sunday school teacher for many years.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 12, 4 p.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery with Bro. Bill Harper officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Norris Paul Rogers; one daughter, Krista Rogers Thomas; son-in-law, Paul Thomas; grandsons, Andrew, Preston and wife, Allie-Grace and Jack, all of Dallas, TX and one sister, Sarah Siebert of Charleston, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Thomas, Preston Thomas, Jack Thomas and Paul Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Gath Weatherford, Vollie Pierce, Bill Weatherford and Johnnie Weatherford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
