Mrs. Carol Ann Reed of the Ruth Community in Arab, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the age of 72 years.
Mrs. Reed was born on January 1, 1949, to the late Weaver Garvin Ralph and Ermadine Marie Densmore Ralph. Mrs. Reed served her country in the U.S. Navy. She was a administrative assistant for NASA until she retired. She moved from Charleston, SC and has lived in the Ruth Community since 1996. She was a member of the Ruth Baptist Church where she served as the treasurer and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed watching TV, social media, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Reed leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce her life, her mother Ermadine Marie Densmore Ralph; daughter, Kelly L. Short (Jason) and brother, Roger Ralph (Shirley).
Mrs. Reed is preceded in death by her husband, David Harrison Reed; father, Weaver Garvin Ralph; sister, Cathy Ralph.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel starting at 2:00 p.m., Brother Clint Maze officiating.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Mt. Olive Mt. Oak/Ruth Cemetery, Arab, AL.
