Carol Ann Cunningham Edgil, age 72, of Florence, died Aug. 30, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident. Her memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, 3 p.m., with visitation starting at 2 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church at 2701 Florence Blvd., Florence, AL. Tom Malone and Jerry Edgil will officiate.
Carol Ann was a native of Walker County, a graduate of Carbon Hill High School in 1960, and a member of Atwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ruth Barnes Cunningham; and her father-in-law, R M Edgil.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jerry Edgil; daughters, Kim Edgil Jones (Marty), KK Edgil-Mills (Wayne), all of Florence; son, Bobby Edgil (Stacey), of Brentwood, Tenn.; sister, Billie Ruth Hamilton; brothers, Jimmy Cunningham, Johnny Cunningham and Lester Cunningham; and grandchildren, Bailee (Matt) Chappell, Reagan, John-Mark, Jack and Alex.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice .
