Carmon Voyt Livingston – Obituary

Carmon Voyt Livingston, 85, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Funeral service will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with his nephew: Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

A lifelong dairy farmer, he loved being on the farm or behind the wheel of a tractor. He spent his retirement with his cattle or working in the field with the Randolph boys. He loved his family and enjoyed spoiling his great-grandchildren.

Carmon was born August 29, 1930 and was a resident Danville, Alabama.
He is survived by his Wife of 61 Years: Emogene Livingston,Two Daughters: Sandra Latta (Ray), and Kim McLemore (Kevin), One Sister:
Shelby Melson (Arnold), Six Grandchildren: Matt Raley (Amanda),Mandy Heatherly (Carey), Jonathan Latta (Stacy), Kayla Latta, Peyton McLemore and Troy McLemore, Six Great grandchildren: Ava, Celia, Lily Claire, Eliza, Mackenzie, and Kamryn and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Bessie Livingston, his sisters: Ara Lowery, Ruby Lee Collins, Ruth Randolph, Lena Bullard, Odell Nicholson, Frances Morris, Shirley Johnson and Bobbie Bolan and a brother: Edward “Ed” Livingston.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Karen Melson, Vicki Tidwell, and Comfoprt Care Hospice for their support in his final days.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Latta, Jerry Randolph, Kurt Randolph, Britt Murphy, Carey Heatherly, Ray Latta. Kevin McLemore
