Carmon Landon Harville, 87, of Moulton, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor John Davis officiating. Burial will be at Rutherford Cemetery. There will not be any services at the graveside.
Born on February 15, 1936 to the late Harvey and Annie Thrasher Harville, Carmon retired from Fluor Daniel after 34 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching all sports, especially Alabama Football. Carmon was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include his daughters, Cathy (Glenn) Thompson,and Debbie Clemons; grandchildren, Alison (Jared) Kennedy, Joshua Thompson, Kiana Clemons, and Takoda Clemons; great-grandchildren, Jayden Kennedy, Serenity Thompson, Kamden Clemons, Knoxten Lane, and Kaisley Summerford; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Carmon was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Marie Harville; son, Michael L. Harville; parents; brothers, Melvin Harville, John L Harville, Condon Harville, Lunford Harville, Nathan Harville, and an infant brother.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Thompson, Takoda Clemons, Jayden Kennedy, Jared Kennedy, Jason Harville, and Jay Harville.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Aveanna Hospice, especially Carla, Sue, and Paige; Pastor John Davis, and Carmon’s caregiver Deborah Paulson for her loving care.
