Mrs. Newton was a native of Lawrence County, TN, employed at Dura, and a member of The Way Church. Survivors include: 1 Son- Stephen Newton of Lawrenceburg, TN; 2 Daughters- Tracie Adkison & husband Nathan of Santa Fe, TN; Amy Lynn & husband Matt of Lawrenceburg, TN; 1 Sister- Carolyn Hobbs of Pulaski, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, & Great Nephews; Preceded in death by: Parents- Clarence & Artie Stephens; Husband- Clyde Ray Newton; The funeral service will be officiated by Larry Creekmore & David Byrd. Burial to follow in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Christian Children’s Fund P.O. Box 3341 Kampala, Uganda
