Carlissa Tucker, age 58 of Cowan, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on August 15, 1965, to the late Truman and Ellen (Adams) Stephens. She was previously employed as a seamstress at RW Apparel. Carlissa was a published poet, as well as a “bookworm” as she loved to read. She was very skilled and could fix anything. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting and fishing. Carlissa had a love for life that was contagious to those around her, and she was always there for her friends and family when they needed someone to talk to. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Tucker; son, Corey Sisk; and siblings, Rhonda Shetters, Steve Shetters, and Monk Shetters. Carlissa is survived by her loving children, Debbie (Michael) Holliday and Dale (Brittany) Rhodes; siblings, Nancy Gifford and Kevin (Lori) Thompson; special brother, Chris (Kristy) Davenport; and grandchildren, Lincoln Holliday, Trinity Rhodes, Dylan Rhodes, Raylen Rhodes, Trenton Brewer, Samara Brewer, Destiny Brewer, Noah Nelson, Jayeln Nelson, Christopher Davenport, and Sophia Davenport.
