Carline Usrey Patrick age 84, of Arab passed away March 10, 2024 at Hanceville Nursing Home. Mrs. Patrick was born on March 14, 1939, in Madison, AL, daughter of Wiley and Louise Usrey. Her early childhood was spent in Madison County, AL, She attended Madison County High School and retired from Chrysler in Huntsville, AL. She was married to Gary Patrick 49 years. They were Blessed to have traveled all over the United States and several countries. She was a member of Arab First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Patrick was active in several organizations through the years including RSVP of Marshall County and First Baptist Church Ladies Prayer Group. She enjoyed working with Vacation Bible School in the summer time it brought her joy being around so many children wanting to know about Jesus at such a young age.
Carline left a legacy of love to her family and friends; love for her God, love for her family and love for doing for others.
She is survived by her Husband: Gary Patrick; Son: Charles (Wendy) Britton of Flintville, TN; Daughters: Cathy (Mark) Strauser of Madison, AL; Tammie (Leonard) Haga of Arab, AL; Shirley George of Flintville, TN; Timi (Lowell) Dooley of Auburn, AL; Ann Marie (Craig) Bethune of Gadsden, AL. Grandchildren: 12 Great Grandchildren: 22 Great Great Grandchildren 4, and a host of nephews, nieces family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Wiley and Louise Usrey; Brothers: Rayford Usrey, James Usrey, Charles Usrey and Sister: Mattie Belle Holt and granddaughter: Cheryl Nicole Pence.
Private visitation for Family only. The funeral service will be held at Arab Heritage on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 am. with Dr. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Arab Memorial Cemetery.
