Carlie McCutcheon, age 90 of Waynesboro, Tennessee died September 21, 2012. Services will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Burial will follow in Culp’s Chapel Cemetery, Clifton, Tennessee
with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of the arrangments.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 22, 6:00-8:00 pm and on Sunday, Sept. 23, 12:30 pm until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Mr. Carlie McCutcheon departed this life on Friday, September 21, 2012at @ Wayne Medical Centery in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 11 Months, 27 Days. He was born September 25, 1921 in Perry County, the son of the late Wade Hamilton and Ottie Belle Creasy McCutcheon. In addition to his parents, Mr. McCutcheon was preceded in death by wife; Bonnie Powell McCutcheon; 2 children; brothers; Henry; J D and Edward McCutcheon; sister; Kathleen Howell.
Mr. McCutcheon was a factory worker retired from Genesco and a farmer . He was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Carlie served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by sister, Edna Cole of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.
