We are sad to announce the passing of Carlia Bennett Harris of Heflin, Alabama. She passed from this life on October 20, 2022 at the age of 85. Carlia was surrounded by her loved ones after her battle with Leukemia.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Bennett of Salt Creek, a sister Katie Bostrom, and a brother Jesse Bennett.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Jeffrey Harris, two children David Haynes (Sharon) and Cathleen Mullally and grandchildren Tray, Stephanie, Patrick, Jerry and Sandy and three sisters Nettie Isgar, Margaret McCullough and Lorine Copeland.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Salt Creek Baptist Church at 11 am with the Reverend Curtis Collett officiating with a private family interment at a later date.
