Carla Lindsey Carter was born in Florence, Alabama on November 6, 1958 and soon moved with her family to Madison, Alabama. She attended Bob Jones High School where she was captain of the school’s first dance team. Carla Graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1980 with a degree in Social Work. Her career was with Hospice, first in Anniston where she helped begin that agency as Director of Social Work. Carla was with Hospice Family Care of Huntsville for many years. She was predeceased by her father, William C. Lindsey, Sr. and Uncle Guy Rankin, Jr. She is survived by her mother Ruth R. Lindsey (Beezie), Brother William R. Lindsey, Aunt Sarrah Rankin and nieces Jordan Rankin Lindsey and Carolyne Ruth Lindsey. Carla Loved all animals.
