Dr. Carl Tyler Case, 79, of Huntsville, died Saturday. Dr. Case graduated from the University of Louisville, Speed School, where he earned a BS and a Master’s degree in Physics, and was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He earned his PhD at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Col. Case retired from the USAF after 22 years of service. He and his family relocated to Huntsville where worked for 22 years for Sparta before retiring.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nora Travis Case; daughter, Kelley Case Wagner; son, Kendall Case; grandchildren, Katie Wagner, Tyler Wagner, Kayla Case and Kylie Case; and sister, Patricia Burckel (Bill).
Col. Case will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
