Tommy Brake Carl Thomas “Tommy” Brake, better known to his friends as Tomcat, age 67 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering held at a later date.

Mr. Brake was born on October 23, 1953 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Dorothy Watts Brake and the late James Brake. He was in sales at A.O. Smith, formerly State Industries, for over 30 years before starting his own business, Ground Water Pump and Drilling Supply in Murfreesboro. He loved to golf, fish, and attended Cross Point Church.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Prissy Grantham.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by wife of 37 years, Penny Brake; son, Matthew Thomas (Kristan) Brake; brothers, Jimmy Brake and Kenny (Betty) Brake; sisters, Carolyn (Mike) Watson and Judy (Scott) Fleming; and grandson, Conner Thomas Brake.
